Riverman Media’s long-awaited game following up on The Excecutive ($2.99) is finally out. MUL.MASH.TAB.BA.GAL.GAL ($2.99) is now available on the App Store. The core of the game is kinda like playing Pong against yourself, as you control both paddles at once…or you could get a friend to play with you. But we all know I don’t have friends. I mean, you, you don’t have friends. Regardless, the goal is to bop enemies that are rising from the bottom of the screen, and to keep your ball hit combo going, causing some frantic multiball action to come into play.

There’s an interesting combination between the simplicity of the paddle-and-ball action, and the scenario in play. Decisions have to be made: do you want to try and manage several balls at once or prefer the controlled chaos of single, decisive strikes? Do you go for coins, and try to stop a dangerous enemy before they rise closer to the top? This is a surprisingly deep game, and it’s not just because it starts out underwater. There’s some plans for more content down the road for MUL.MASH.TAB.BA.GAL.GAL, with monthly updates planned if the game does well.
