Wadjet Eye, developers of the Blackwell series of games that completed its run on iOS earlier this year, isn’t stopping with the ports to mobile. Their 2012 game Primordia is set to see release on iOS on September 21st. Created with Wormwood Studios, this adventure game will have you playing as the robotic Horatio Nullbuilt and his companion Crispin, as you explore the wastelands of Metropol. And along the way, you’ll try to survive as you run without a power core, and discover your origins, and perhaps figure out what happened to all the humans. Perhaps it was poisonous gases.
This Wadjet Eye classic has some interesting talent behind it, with the lead writer/designer of this game, Mark Yohalem, going on to be the writer on the upcoming Torment: Tides of Numenera. As well, Horatio is voiced by Bastion ($4.99) narrator Logan Cunningham. You’ll be able to check out this one on iOS on September 21st.
