Ever since its launch, the developers have been extremely active in releasing new updates based on feedback received directly from fans and, as a result, it as become a cult classic amongst iOS gamers. Now, for the very first time, developers Oddrok have made Power Hover completely free to download, and so anyone who missed the boat first time has a great opportunity to try out the exciting and unique hover board action without spending a penny.
When we looked at Power Hover in our review, we were big fans of the core concept, and our main criticisms have since been fixed with the addition of new game modes, characters, themes, achievements and much more than make it a far more expansive experience than it ever was back in December of last year. Current fans will also be glad to note that Power Hover going free does not appear to be an attempt at altering the game into a freemium experience – instead, while the In App Purchases persist, they are in the same form as before and are optional only. Bought it because it reminded me of Might and Magic VI-VIII series. In some ways it's different but nontheless hardcore.
Will this version be available in the future for iphone?i think it would looks great on iphone 6plus.... I dont mind buying this again :)

I believe the developer said The Island of Fire & Ice would be available as a standalone app.
They say in there post quote"but they're open to updating the game to be universal"so that should be great for all that like the game.
Making this run on iPhone would be great -- especially if they add iCloud support for moving progress around between devices. I want to love this game but the chunky text, it burns, my eyes, the goggles, they do nothing.
What phone do you use ? I used to have the game on my 5s and uninstalled after a few hours of play for this exact reason.
Tonight i redownloaded The Quest Gold for my 6S+ and its actually not that bad !
Now I need to decide if I want to continue playing the original and have access to the expansions or if Id rather have it in HD ...
Gosh I dislike iPad only games. Please bring this to iPhone 6 Plus.

I think the developer said in the forums he didn't have an iOS 8 device for testing so that compatibility was unlikely.

The developer said a universal update is on the way and should only take a couple of weeks. He is also looking for testers with iPads running iOS 8.
I'll confirm that I'm working on iOS8 compatibility and iPhone version. :) iOS8 version should come in a few days, already works, just needs a bit more testing to make sure (and of course the usual Apple review).
The iPhone version will need a bit more time, need to design/create all the game screens for the smaller screen.
And yes, we'll also release our own expansion, "Islands of Ice and Fire".
I just bought it in anticipation of the iOS 8 compatibility patch! I am so happy to support you with my money again and I am beyond excited to begin playing The Quest in HD! I am also very happy to hear he expansion Island of Fore and Ice is also coming to HD! That is a lot of great content!
I am curious about The Quest 2 as well. I presume it will all be done in the new HD format? Will it have a new engine?
For The Quest 2, we'll update The Quest HD's engine, both graphically and of course for the gameplay. But it won't be a completely new engine.

Man i feel playing this on the ipad is the best way to experience it, i love my 6s but ive always been a fan of the bigger screen for mobile gaming. Thats said this should be in everyones collection, so many countless hours of gameplay.
Its not easy and some of you may have to refer to a walkthrough if not familiar with this type of game...but its a very rewarding experience either way.

Played the original but never finished it so I'm extremely excited to buy this for my iPad Air 2 128g. Loved it then and I have no doubt I'll love it even more with it been HD. Just need to wait till Tuesday for my disability pension I can't afford many games so I always have to be carefull on what I buy and I know this game will last me a long time. Will this version be getting the expansions as well.?

The Quest is great classic RPG playing. Must have beaten the first one 10+ times over the years and the first couple expansions. The expansions after that start getting pretty tedious, but this first one has good replay ability to it and enough race/classes to play to do so,
Does it have MFI support?
I'm going to say no and doesn't need it.
