After a few weeks of fun, new Hearthstone (Free) Tavern Brawls, we are back to an old one, and I suppose it was about time. This week’s Brawl is Heart of the Sunwell, a Brawl almost from a year ago (wow, we’ve had Brawls for almost a year now). Heart of the Sunwell has you building a deck and then starts you off with ten mana. As you can imagine, you don’t have to worry about low-mana early game minions, but at the same time don’t go overboard with big minions because you want to be able to play more than one minion at a turn if you can. It’s a good idea to run some card draw so you can have enough cards in your hand – but play spells rather than weak card draw minions – and keep in mind that unlike the original version of this Brawl, you can bring those Old Gods along and play them on turn one if you so wish (although they won’t be too useful).
Also, make sure to carry some good removal (the likes of Polymorph, Brawl, Vanish, and so on) because that board will fill up pretty fast. Big Game Hunter is useful to take care of some of the big guys, Faceless Manipulator will let you double a strong minion, and bring some Taunt minions (and some silence minions) so you can resist/push damage when needed. The Brawl is live in NA, so go and enjoy never having to wait for that 10-mana turn to come around.
