The fantastic Tennis Champs Returns (Free) has just made it easier to take your stylishly-appointed tennis player to the top of the world rankings from whatever iOS device you’re playing on, as the game now supports iCloud saves. The iCloud saving isn’t an automatic process and needs to be enabled in settings, but sometimes automatic iCloud winds up being a bigger headache than it needs to be. Instead, with manual loading and saving, you have to hit those save and load buttons for yourself, but it works without much issue. Also, if you’ve grown accustomed to having different characters on different devices, you don’t have to worry about losing them, as you can just leave the cloud saving disabled in settings.

Another welcome tweak is that you can now choose how long you want career mode matches to be; if you prefer longer slugfests, Tennis Champs is here for you. Some new options to tweak the controls, bug fixes, and gameplay tuning have been added in to make this an even better experience. This remains one of the best games of the year on iOS so far – it really is an amazing game. I haven’t had this much fun with a tennis game since the Game Boy Mario Tennis games, so check it out.
