If for some unfortunate reason you’ve been living in a remote cabin without internet access for the past few months, first off, welcome back. Secondly, Call of Champions is a mobile MOBA that we’ve been having a fantastic time with over here at TouchArcade Towers. If you watch us on Mobcrush, you’ll see us streaming it quite often, our forum members dig it, and we made it game of the week when it launched. Here’s the tl;dr on what makes Call of Champions special:
They manage to maintain just enough of what vaguely feels like wha you do during the laning phase of a MOBA, while speeding it up significantly to get to the good part which is the roaming around and team fighting… Which is primarily what you do in Call of Champions. It’s real clever, and I’m not sure why someone else didn’t think of something like this to speed up MOBA’s.
We don’t often post about Android releases, but we like this game so much that it felt worth highlighting regardless. If you’ve been watching us stream it, or you’ve been hearing people talk about it but you’re stuck off on the Android island, hit this link and give the game a shot. Budget about 15 minutes worth of time for your first launch to go through the tutorial and play a game to get a feel for it. I doubt you’ll be sorry you did.
