Well, we knew it was coming soon, and it has indeed arrived. The Minecraft: Pocket Edition ($6.99) has been updated just now, and we officially have Redstone circuits to play with! I know many players (me included) have been waiting for this huge part of Minecraft to hit the Pocket Edition, and I’m glad it’s finally here. Now we can build crazy coasters and contraptions in survival, which is great for survival-only players (like me). The update has brought basic Redstone circuits – including Redstone Wire – and the first set of Redstone Producers that includes among other items daylight sensors, pressure plates, and tripwire hooks. I know many of you are asking “where are the pistons?"
According to the developers they are “just around the corner" along with dispensers. Although pistons are an essential part of Redstone circuits, I’m glad we’ve at least got the basic Redstone circuits. The update also adds Desert Temples (stay off the roof), Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, and Dark Oak Doors, cute fluffy bunnies that will be eating your crops (sorry farmers), the Biome Settlers Pack with new skins from the Desert, Tundra, and Forest, as well as many little fixes and improvements. Well, what are you waiting for? Start building.
