Turbo Tape has been busy cranking out more content for it’s digital board game, Warhammer: Arcane Magic($1.99). Today marks the release of the Jungles of Lustria expansion pack which introduces more monsters, more wizards and the titular new environment, the jungles where the Lizardman faction call home.
The initial installment of Arcane Magic was a solid game that was missing a few pieces that Jungles is attempting to fill in. With a few more lore tie-ins and the extra Jungles content, that gap is well on it’s way to being closed. I was also able to get confirmation that future content patches will be adding in magic items usable by wizards, as well as an overhaul to the warpstone and plunder pack system. In addition to those changes, they will also be adding gold packs to the game which will contain these new magic items and even sometimes permanent Lore Spell cards. The gold packs sound really cool and I am looking forward to hear more about them.
Arcane Magic is starting to look a bit like Warhammer Quest($2.99) with the continued content support and ever improving gameplay. If you have yet to take the plunge on AM, this is probably the best time to jump in because starting today, to celebrate the new content pack, the core game is currently on sale for $3.99 down from $9.99 so check it out!
