With NBA 2K16 rolling out this week, the companion app MyNBA2K16 (Free) is out now, and if you’re playing the console NBA 2K16, you’ll want to check this out. The app lets you earn a ton of NBA 2K16 Virtual Currency by using the app, and playing the card game in the app. From what we hear, the VC you earn in MyNBA2K16 is quite lucrative to help you out in the console game. Do make sure to link your NBA 2K16 account to the app to get the rewards, though.
The bulk of MyNBA2K16 is an Ultimate Team-style card game where you build up a team of basketball players, enhancing and increasing their stats to win in card games against other players, which help net you those VC rewards to help you in NBA 2K16. It’s a self-contained game from the WWE SuperCard (Free) developers, so you can play it without connecting to NBA 2K16, but this is a must-download if you’re playing the console game.

They should have just cancelled the gameplay and made it an auto play game. Or at least give you the option to auto play and at least admit that the only real point of the game is the CCG aspect.
I played 10 games, went to a draw in all 10 games and decided this game is pretty shitty and uninstalled it. Maybe I'll try next year but it was clear from 10 games (which I should at least be able to enjoy right?) that there's no point to playing if you're not going to dump in cash to get a team that isn't terrible at actually playing soccer.
I recommend Football Manager Mobile 2016 (coming soon) or Handheld 2015. Too bad all the 3D footy games are f2p now. AND FIFA 2016 even took away the daily reward for opening the app. I'll never afford anything!!!
Very fair review. I was totally disappointed as well. This really is the last time I try EA Sports games on iOS. I just wish I wouldn't have spent 9.99 on IAP's. That's how excited I was about this game. I will stick to Active Soccer 2 and Stickman Football for my iOS sports fix.

Also, they need to bring back FIFA 14. The last year it was worth playing.

Stopped bothering with FIFA on mobile years ago. It got so bad I ignore all EA games on principal. On my publisher/developer ignore list. Looking forward to Football Manager 2016.
I cannot wait for Football Manager handhel 2016. I will buy the app and get some "cheater" IAP just like last year, which is more than what EA gets
It's clear that the older fifa's weren't the inspiration; this game is definitely just trying to be another gacha collectibles game

One of the most devilish parts is that the game asks you for your favourite team to give you one card of a player you will hate. It's basically saying "what team do you support? I need to make sure I NEVER give you any pack with stuff of your team". You are not even allowed to play the tutorial with your own freaking team.
Chemistry is a key feature, its what makes FIFA ut so popular and creates unique teams. Without chemistry every man and his dog has the exact same team with all the best players.
I just played 3 Fifa games on my life.
Fifa2007 was simple not so much new features considering the consoles in time but still lacked of quality graphics.
Fifa14 I really felt a big change in the graphics, new ways of playing and overall pleased me since it felt a big change in the game. I really liked the UT feature but hated that you couldn't play some tornaments after playing them a determined numbered of times which I believe EA put that bugg on purpose in order for players to stop earning coins.
I recently bought Fifa16 late december expecting something different overall improvement but I tooked me just two UT games to find out that this is the worst game ever. Disconexion issue just after the second matched played I mean c'mon! How come this popular mode feature this basic bug/issue is so dissapointing EA each year reléase a Fifa game and are just a remake of the past game with just changing the teams kits. EA is a pathetic company concerned on earning money buyer must really start to complain much more and demand a better product for our money. Seems all Fifa related is corrupt.
What a horrible game and horrible server a disgrace to the ea games and the huge ndisappointment that i could ever have in any soccer game. Well, you have to try for 10 times to play in order to be able to because the server wont work for most of the times and even when a i occur and you are allowed to access the game you cant play a long match you are obliged to stick to the short time they give you for every match which ofcourse you will not enjoy since you are playing with a weird team and weird players that you hate and will never be able to play with the team that you love. A disappointment that will make you delete the game as fast as possible bcz you will easily notice that the 1.5 gb in your phone worth to be used in something that is more valuable and that the free space worth more than this horrible game
