If you woke up and haven’t checked your calendar yet today, I’ve got some good news and I’ve got some bad news. The good news is it’s Wednesday and there’s a ton of new iOS games coming tonight to download. The bad news is, the grand council that determines whether or not this week is in fact weak is busy waiting for the keynote to start… So we might not have an authoritative answer as to where this week lies on the meh-o-meter until later today.
I’m most excited for Mucho Taco, but mainly just so I can experience a taste of the secret sauce that Noodlecake has cooked up to make even the biggest vocally outspoken haters of clickers love Mucho Taco. Also, who doesn’t like tacos? If you don’t, well, good news, there’s a bunch of other games coming out tonight that might not offend your delicate culinary sensibilities:
- Cosmo Run (by No Six Five)
- Cute Things Dying Violently (by Alexander Jordan)
- Devastator (by Radiangames)
- Impossible Caves (by Appsolute Games LLC)
- Land of Chai 2 (by Thomas Patierno)
- Mucho Taco (by Noodlecake Studios Inc)
- PixWing (by Aleksander Kauch)
- Rockfest (by Headup Games GmbH & Co KG)
- Sea of Squares (by Electrofish Interactive Ltd)
- Shaun the Sheep – Puzzle Putt (by Aardman Animations Ltd.)
- Skilltree Saga (by Headup Games GmbH & Co KG)
- Slow Down (by Ketchapp)
- Super Cricket Fighter Turbo (by Mathieu Philippe)
- Tower Dwellers Gold (by ECC GAMES)
- Towers Runner (by Bulkypix)
- Wormarium Arcade (by Trompo Games Inc.)
…Aaaand that’s the list as of this writing. I’ll try to keep it updated throughout the day but I’m guessing since today is a keynote day, chances are releases will be a little light. Either way, stay tuned for the full roundup later tonight around 11:00 PM Eastern!

Totally pumped for this.
I was about to start the game. Maybe I am going to wait for the update.
I think you'll be fine playing now. Unless you hate the game, you'll be playing it more than once and you can experience the new content on your third or sixth playthrough!
Sixth playthrough? Lol.
Gonna give it a try if that's the case. Thanks!
Wow. I can't wait. I'll definitely be picking up a Mac version should it appear on Steam or the Mac App Store. Also, I'll be playing the mobile version when I'm not near my computers. I think my only suggestion for this game was to have more content and maybe go to space. I feel like they hand-picked my suggestion and ran with it. So excited.
Also, great screenshot. I'm in DFW, myself!
I was hoping this game would get one more big patch. I was always disappointed by how little there was in the western hemisphere after all the rich content in the east.
YES!!! Wow. Good stuff!
Waiting on this to go on sale before purchasing hear a lot about the game just can't justify the price
It is 4.99$ not 499$.
Can't justify the price? That's unbelievable. It show why the ios market is such a mess...
I hope it NEVER gets on sale.
All I'll say is that if you like the game, you're going to get 20 or more hours of entertainment from it. At $5, it's an incredible deal. And if you don't like it, you'd be wasting the price of a latte or two cups of plain black coffee. And this game has already provided a massive update re: North Pole with another one around the corner, all for free. Not to lecture, and in my humble opinion, but this is _precisely_ the payment modelmwe should support if we want quality games on iOS and not the thousandth iteration of Flappy Birds.
Not that there's anything wrong with Flappy Birds.
I see your point but rarely play a game that long on my phone. If I pay 5 and only play it for 20 minutes before I realize it's not my type of game I'm out $5. Will wait on a sale just my route on these higher prices games
I am a huge fan of actual paperback gamebooks. I own most of those that have been adapted to IOS it seems like the sorcery titles get mixed reviews. People seem to either love them or hate them. At some point I am going to purchase one just to satisfy my curiosity about wether or not I like the transfer from paperback book, my trusty dice , pencil and notebook. 80 days definitely looks cool I am going to buy it first I think. I am still just a little too afraid that my love of regular gaming with game books might be spoiled by the mobile transfer experience.
Don't fear. Just embrace it!
Ipad is perfect for this kind of game.
