‘.Decluster Zero: Bullet Nocturne’ is a Remix Version of Well-Regarded Bullet Hell Shmup ‘.Decluster: Into the Bullet Hell’

TouchArcade Rating:

Independent Japanese game developer Masayuki Ito released .Decluster: Into the Bullet Hell (Free) earlier this year, and it wound up being a fantastic example of the bullet hell shmup genre on iOS, earning a 5-star review from us. Now, the game is getting what Masayuki Ito is calling a “remix version" of the original, and he’s calling it .Decluster Zero: Bullet Nocturne. Here’s the trailer for the game, expected to release in August for iOS:

The new release will feature redesigned levels, modified mechanics, a remixed soundtrack, and more changes. We’ll have to see just what exactly these all add up to, especially if you’ve played the original game, but a fresh take on this well-regarded experience sounds interesting to me, and might just hook in old players looking for more, and new players who missed the original game at launch. Keep an eye out for this – and all those bullets – sometime in August.

      Already done ;)

Sound good, not sure if a jailbreak is available for iOS 8.4 yet but I'd be tempted to if it means I can play this along with HOMM3 & FTL

      1. EpicGamerDude

Yes it is! :) this is one of the many reason I love jaikbreaking.

      2. the_rebel14

it actually is available! I'm currently running on an ios 8.4 jailbroken iPod touch.

      3. lyace21

FTL is rather cramped but playable in my 6 and I used this same method, also on Papers, Please :)

Sometimes jailbreaking isnt bad..take a note apple

      1. YaoYao

Jail breaking is almost never bad for the people who pay money for and use an actual device.

    4. Press2Play

Wow is this what the devs want for not making a game universal whattashame, oh we'll imma break out of jail.lelz.

    5. rafa01

if you are jalibroken on iphone 5S you can install little brother tweak and change ip5S res for ip6 resolution then install fullforce for iphone to fit ip6 screen.

    6. falco

Seriously you will jailbroke your iPhone just for this game lol really Just write a letter to the developper saying we want Don't Starve to be universal.

      1. Sushibox

Oh heavens no. I've jailbroken my device for a multitude of reasons, playing this on my phone is just a relatively fun side effect.

Super cool article! Thanks for the tips.

iPhone 5s minimum? Anyone with a 5 non-S able to comment on their experiences with these packages?

    9. Brendan Charles

Amazing! I tried this trick with FTL and it's now running on my iPhone 5! I can't get rid of the black bars though, even with ForceGoodFit and a respiring.

    10. khann

It probably runs fine on a 6+, can anyone tell me how it feels running on a 6?

      1. lyace21

It works well on my 6, you can set the UI to 1-2, you can see almost everything on 2 but the description for the first item on the crafting menu is kinda cut off

      Whoo! Shoutout from Eli!

      1. Eli Hodapp

        THANKS FOR BEING AWESOME!

What? Not universal?! I demand an iPhone version.

    13. Nergal

This game is hard to play on a console with a controller that has like 20 buttons. Playing it on a tiny phone would suck all the fun out of the game, it's not a very easy game and can be frustrating without fighting controls. I get ppl want great games on the phone but be realistic. It's nice when iOS gets cool indie titles though

Why promote jailbreaking on a site that depends on developers' money as well as patrons who actually spend money rather than jailbreak? It should be illegal to jailbreak, and I know it's not. The emulator argument doesn't work either.

      1. bluechipps

For one, they do not promote jailbreaking as an alternative of any kind. Jailbreaking basically removes limitations placed on your device exponentially increasing its potential usefulness. Anyway you get the point, power can and will be abused, doesn't mean we should limit it.

        1. DonnyDJ76

On another site, they are discussing the elimination of F2P games. It would be great if those were eliminated but I don't see that happening.

The only F2P mechanism I don't mind is a coin doubler, but most F2P games are pay to win. Guess I'm stating the obvious.

          1. anabolicMike

Another thing F2P combats is the rampant piracy that would occur with premium titles and jail broken units. I know there's always ways to cheat and rob the devs who make f2p but that's for a much more advanced user then the bugger who can goto a torrent sight and download a premium game.... Or the guy who zips and sends it through email, or his FTP... Anyway, you get the picture!

    15. anabolicMike

I play it on my mini which is pocket size! If it don't fit in your denim just grab it with two hands and HU-Hu-Hu-HOOOOOP IT!

    16. Josue Feliciano

Has anyone gotten "Loot and Legends" to work using this method? Doesn't seem to install on the 6+
