Gameloft has been teasing Dungeon Hunter 5 since the beginning of this year, and today they’ve finally revealed when we can get our hands on the final product: March 12. Gameloft has also released a new cinematic trailer announcing the release date, and while I’m not typically a big fan of cinematic trailers that don’t show any sort of gameplay, this one is pretty awesome.
During PAX South this year, our own Carter Dotson went hands-on with Dungeon Hunter 5, and earlier this month he shared his impressions of the game. It’s got a much brighter and more colorful visual style compared to the dark and gritty nature of most games in this genre, and it’ll have plenty of elements of popular free to play games like base raiding and multiplayer. It also seems like it’ll have some satisfying combat and a deep campaign, so I’m looking forward to taking Dungeon Hunter 5 for a spin when it lands next week.
