One Man Left has been quietly tinkering away on Tilt to Live: Gauntlet’s Revenge, a spin-off of Tilt to Live 2 ($2.99) that started off as DLC reimagining of the gauntlet mode from the original Tilt to Live ($2.99), and the good news is that the standalone game is now nearing completion. Release is scheduled for October exclusively on iOS, and we’ve got some new screens and details on the game.
We know that the game will boast three different standard gauntlets to play in, across easy, medium, and hard modes. These gauntlets can be played in any order, but all give the player the goal of reaching the finish line and playing the bonus round at the end of each gauntlet, collecting pointonium along with way. Beating all three gauntlets, which are randomized each play session, unlocks the final boss gauntlet, where players will take on the Dot King himself. There will, of course, be Game Center leaderboards and achievements. Will the game make players “experience the full spectrum of human emotion" as One Man Left claims it will? Probably not, but I suppose we will all learn in October.

Purchased this one immidiately after its arrival on UK appstore and i highly recommend this game to TD fans..specially Kingdom Rush fans. Not an ordinary tower defence.its more challenging and keeps you active thru out level.Graphics are stunning on my 5s and iPad Air and Tech Tree feature is really cool..I advise to play this game on Normal or Hard difficulty.WELL WORTH THE MONEY AND HIGH REPLY VALUE..Kudos to Devs
I replied... because your post has high reply value.
And also because alongside the review it made me buy it. ;)
Its fine mate ;-) have a good gaming :-)
i mean high REPLAY* value..sorry for typing error :)
Replay value is overrated. In 2014 it's all about the reply value
Humble Bundle is practically giving this away for Android and PC. Oh how I wish they did iOS bundles, too!
Sort of imposible for them to offer games for iOS.
I actually bought this game on Steam when it was release and have really enjoyed it. It'll be fun to play such a a high quality game on my iPad and iPhone since it is universal too. The technology/upgrade tree is pretty expansive, which helps out a lot when you want to replay different levels to see what kinds of interesting combos of turrets you can have on the line.
If I haven't played any of the Anomaly games, would it make more sense to go pick those up first, or just dive into this one. I do enjoy a good tower defense game, but if it would make the experience better to play the others first, then that's what I'll do.
play those games first, it feels like the revenge of the machines
GREAT REVIEW 🙌👏🙌👏🙌😂👌👌👌👌
A fan of TDs in general, and I did like anomaly 2 (only one I tried). I was pretty cautious on trying this one out for some reason. It just didn't click to me. I'm not a diehard fan of anomaly either. So I was going to pass, but this reviewer seemed to be on the same page as I was so...guess I'll check it out.
So linear and without soul. This game gets sooo tedious after a few missions, I couldn't even finish it.
Would you recommend this game to someone who can enjoy tower Defense games, but found Anomoly 2 to be a bit of a tedious slog?
Not a chance. Slooooooow
If that was in reply to me, then thanks. That was what I'd feared.
No online multiplayer :(
Great game with some of the highest production values and visuals I have seen in a tower defense game.
Gameplay wise this game uses a lot of concepts from Kingdom Rush such as fixed locations for defense, fixed but multiple paths, resettable upgrade system, multiple special attacks for each defense, etc. One of the new concepts in this game is the concept of extractor, which also serves as a trap which lures the enemies from the traditional shortest path. This adds some strategy to the game. The enemies also transform, which occasionally forces you to vary your strategy. The pace is a bit slow, which is why I use the speed up button is used pretty often. Nonetheless I can see times when slow pace helps as there are a lot of things going on the screen at once.
Where the game shines absolutely is the sound and visuals. This game has the best atmosphere I have seen in a td game and the music really pumps you up.
In summary this is the best td game I have played in the last two years. The game play takes elements some of the best games in this genre and then added some of it's own twist. The production value is super high. This is a definite buy for those who like fixed path TD games.
This one made remember just what TD truly makes it strategically awesome expereience, and as a Anomaly series one, the result is just one the best TD games ever
