VVVVVV, Terry Cavanagh’s Gravity-Flipping Platformer, Coming Thursday to iOS

The long-awaited mobile version of VVVVVV from Terry Cavanagh is finally going to be a reality this week on Thursday, June 12th. This gravity-flipping platformer that takes place in a Metroid-esque open world predates Super Hexagon ($2.99) but is just now making its way to mobile. The entire game, including the bonus modes and user-created levels, with music by Souleye, will be in this version.

Cavanagh is promising something “secret" to go along with VVVVVV on mobile that will also release on Thursday that should be related to the main game. The original is one of the finest faux-retro platformers of this generation and, touch controls willing, should be represented well on iOS.
