Posted in our forums over this past weekend, Warbits is an upcoming strategy title that urges humanity to settle their differences not through violence, but through combat on a virtual battlefield. Its inspiration can be clearly seen: this is an homage to Advance Wars through and through. But, it certainly doesn’t appear to be a straight up clone, and differentiates itself in at least a couple of ways. First, battles happen in real-time on the overhead map, rather than switching over to a side-by-side battle scene. Seems more streamlined, and I like that. Warbits also has a pretty unique look, which you can see accompanied by an awesome soundtrack in this trailer.
In addition to a single-player campaign, Warbits will feature both local and online multiplayer through Game Center. Multiplayer supports up to four players and can be played in teams or free for all.Warbits is a project of the two-person studio Risky Lab, and being a small operation it’s hard to peg down a specific date for when the game will be complete. But according to Risky Lab’s website, they’ll “be done real soon otherwise our wives will probably leave us." That sounds like stellar motivation to me, so keep an eye out for Warbits to hit the App Store at some point in the future at a price of $2.99, and don’t forget to jump into the discussion in our forums.
Unfortunately there's a bug with the season pass, the episode remains locked. They've submitted a patch, hopefully it'll be approved soon.

Edit 2: the patch removed my season pass and it won't restore it. What a train wreck...
Edit 3: As was discovered in the thread, simply tapping on the shopping cart for episode 2 will prompt you to download the episode for free.
Yeah, i've downloaded episode 2 but I got billed $5 for it again even with season pass.
How is it that none of the game sites including TA here knows about this bug and posts about it? Seriously made me think for a while that I was the only one with it until I finally found others on the forums.

Downloaded the latest patch and playing Episode 2, no issues. Sorry to all of you who are having problems!
So... I have a season pass, and I downloaded it. Hadn't gotten to ep 2 yet, but it merely said locked over it. Then I downloaded their annoying patch. Now I just got billed twice for episode 2. What the hell guys?
Oh yeah... And episode 2 doesn't work either.
Yeah, it comes up with the "answer the call" part. I click answer and it just says "Connecting...".
Instructions to Download EP2
1. Make sure to update to Version 2.1 of République via the App Store
2. Launch République
3. If the game does not recognize that you have purchased a Season Pass, go into the options menu of République (gear screen) and hit “Restore Purchases”. Type in your password. There will be no feedback once you complete this; investigating to see if there is a way to improve on this in a future update.
4. From the main menu of République, going into the Play menu. Once you get to the Episode Menu, tap on the down arrows on Episode 2.
5. You should be offered to download “Free Episode 2” for free.
6. Let the download complete.
7. When unpacking is complete, answer the phone call that kicks off with Episode 2.
8. If the game hangs for more than 1 minute on this screen before starting the game; delete Episode 2 by hitting the “x” button on Episode 2 screen and re-download Episode 2. It should no longer hang.
