These streams are getting more and more fun to do as our community is growing. Yesterday you guys saw me do awesome in Threes!, and not so awesome in a bunch of other iOS games. Tomorrow I’m playing New Zealand games, so if you’ve got any game requests, you better join the Twitch chat and let me know! Anyway, if you haven’t yet, please follow us as it’s the best way to get notified when we’re streaming.
To tune into the TA Plays Live stream you’ve got three options:
- The easiest is to just scroll down to see the embedded video stream and chat below. Make sure to turn the volume slider up if you want to hear game audio and commentary.
- Visit the TouchArcade channel on Twitch directly and watch over there.
- Download the Twitch.TV app (Free) and either hit this link on your device or simply search for the channel TouchArcade.
I usually stream until around 7:00 Eastern, at which point I toss the videos up on YouTube for everyone to see that missed the stream. Feel free to request games in chat, just do me a solid- Try not to be too pushy, as someone badgering me to play a certain game kills the flow of the chat, and if you’re a developer please say so if you’re requesting I play your own game.

The game is good fun. Deserving...
Interesting GotW. Can't say I'm leveled by the game itself, although it is fun and has some unique elements.
However I feel like this was almost chosen to show a lesser seen side of F2P, considering the articles as of late. In that regard, this game blew my feeble mind. Probably the best compromise I've seen. Very cool.

I wish it had joystick instead of tilt controls.
It does support MFi, if that's what u mean. Been using my Moga since it released. If it's not working, reset the controller (on mine it's a tiny slot that I can fit a paper clip or toothpick into and it'll make the internal button click to reset).
Yeah I am not a fan of tilt controls either.
We need more free to play games to use this system
I'm extremely impressed by the Play Nice system, based on it's description it should be called Play Fair.

Hmmm the GoTW is usually such a bad choice. Really it is. I don't how they pick em, maybe blindfolded and a dart board have something to do with it. I usually am more then happy to allow them such fun, I ignore such things. However, I am very opinionated on this subject this time. There is one game that should have got GoTW. Over all the others that it kicked off its pedestal, this one game, this one and only one game should have won. Ready, foreshadowing over;
"Only One"!!!!!!!

I know what you mean, I think now is the time you follow through on your dreams. Start your own blog and put up your very own GOTW (and then wonder in all your infinite greatness how and why does everyone disagree with your high and mighty opinion?)
I must be having a very different experience than TA.
While I enjoyed the actual game play mechanics, the buggy UI and the fact that nothing saves took away my enjoyment of the game. Several times the buttons have seemed to stop working and I'm unable to get iff a screen unless I restart the game. Since any planes I buy disappear after I close the game (even after a problem free game) it makes progression in the game very dull.
I was going to give the developer some money because of their limit on spending, but I just don't enjoy the game enough with the constant restarting.
I can't see how it made game of the week.
Once u make it to the 5th level, u can fast forward to that point (and at 10, 15 etc) to somewhat pick up where u left off. Kittens also carry over, so u can still work towards collecting all those. ***There are secret planes, that once found, are unlocked for all play troughs. I have the baron stunt plane, a yellow prop, and (my favorite) a jet (looks like an old Cold War fighter jet almost).
It's a great game with a great payment model - no complaints about this one as Game of the Week.
Works great with all MFi controllers, too.
I like the in app purchase rule more should have it they rob you blind
I played the game and definitely would not have thought that it would have won GOTW. I thought it was an average game, at best.
There simply was not much else released this week, only real competition i saw was Adventure Time Card Wars and Dungelot 2
