Sheesh, following such a dramatic weekend orbiting around the game that you guys first got me to play on stream, I’m not even sure where we can go from here… But I’m sure we’ll find out. Anyway, if you haven’t yet, please follow us as it’s the best way to get notified when we’re streaming.
To tune into the TA Plays Live stream you’ve got three options:
- The easiest is to just scroll down to see the embedded video stream and chat below. Make sure to turn the volume slider up if you want to hear game audio and commentary.
- Visit the TouchArcade channel on Twitch directly and watch over there.
- Download the Twitch.TV app (Free) and either hit this link on your device or simply search for the channel TouchArcade.
I usually stream until around 7:00 Eastern, at which point I toss the videos up on YouTube for everyone to see that missed the stream. Feel free to request games in chat, just do me a solid- Try not to be too pushy, as someone badgering me to play a certain game kills the flow of the chat, and if you’re a developer please say so if you’re requesting I play your own game.
Update: Thanks for watching, everyone. Played a ton of Flappy Bird, Threes!, Puzzlejuice and blew through a bunch of Flappy Bird clones which of course, were horrid. Video will be up as soon as YouTube finishes doing its thing-

Here here. This is the biggest annoyance to a near perfect game. I hate signing. I mash around the area because I just want to get back in. Here's the problem - you have to sign bottom right and replay top left. Just gimme a quick replay button and forget this signing bidness. If I'm in game centre default to the assumption that it's me.
So whats the next highest card after 192. Anyone done it?

Wow when I first read this I was nervous because I love the balance of randomness and skill in Threes! However this is probably the single tweak that improves strategy while still leaving game unpredictable...great job by the deva.
I love this game, but I really hope their next update also includes some optimizations. I'm shocked just how slowly it runs on anything older than an iPhone 5.

I didn't know if I was logged in. Anyways, I too was also worried when I read the headline but I think this will be a great tweak because there is still that randomness.
There are a few things that I would like to suggest.
When you are having a good run on a card that is lasting over an hour the music and number voices get very repetitive and annoying. The music is not bad but it would be great if he could add an extra 3 to 7 minutes to the looping track. A larger problem I have is the sound of a few certain numbers. I love that the numbers have there own personality and speak but when I hear "I'm bored" "I'm tired" and snoring over and over again it makes me sleepy and very annoyed. I know I could turn off the sounds but that takes away one of the things that makes this game great, personality.
Sometimes when I preview shift the numbers to see my options, sometimes I forget where the original location is and I accidentally make a move unintentionally. It would be great if there was some kind of indicator that shows where your original placement is on the card.
i think ff6 and sworcery are the only games ive played in the last 5 years with the sound on. and limbo, but i like saws.
