Some big news just hit Unity’s blog this morning, Unity and Microsoft have come to an agreement that’s going to allow for a Unity add-on that will let developers deploy their Unity projects to the Xbox One in addition to all the other platforms the Unity 3D engine runs on.
This could potentially be a pretty big deal for Unity, independent developers, and gamers everywhere regardless of what platform you’re gaming on. Unity has been picking up steam for years now, and it would make sense that Unity deployment being available for the Xbox One essentially at the time of the console launch might result in even more next generation projects built inside of the Unity engine.
The hope here, is that because Unity’s strong suit is building a game once then deploying it to every platform under the sun, there’s potential for way more console ports of games like XCOM: Enemy Unknown ($9.99) or Knights of the Old Republic ($9.99) on the App Store- Particularly as Apple releases new hardware year after year, incrementally closing the performance gap between handhelds and consoles.

I love Playdek!
Umm.... There actually already is a MTG online app, but it is only for iPad. I may be wrong, but I think it's the same kind of thing you get on ps3 and xbox 360: mtg 2014, 2013 etc
That's Duels of the Planswalkers. While it is MTG, it is not MTG Online, which lets you build your own deck. It's basically an online version of the card game.
I see, the whole pre made deck thing did bug me when I tryed on my xbox
I've played Lords of Waterdeep once and have been itching to play again. It's an excellent game.
played the boardgame once, loved every second :-)
Good, substantial, high-quality board game. And now there won't be a zillion various pieces to juggle and/or misplace. I'm liking this physical-to-virtual board game porting trend, and I hope it continues.
Now if only someone would port Runebound and Descent, then I would be a happy camper!
Lords of Waterdeep is a really fun game. Good for young and old. When you first read the rules it might seem intimidating, but after a turn or two it's a piece of cake. That's not the same as saying that the strategy is obvious. I'm still not that great at the game, but I always enjoy playing it.
Lords of Waterdeep is one of my favorite boardgames in recent years! It's basically a resource management game disguised as a themed Dungeons and Dragons game, and trust me, it straddles that great balanced line of feeling like both a euro-boardgame and a (Ameritrash) western-boardgame.
In short: this can't come out soon enough! Minute one purchase!
The Boardgame is great and this looks like a literal port as opposed to a port lik "Stone Age" let's hope that means it will come to iPhone as well
Love love love the board game. Bring it on!
Now released!
