Winning in Frozen Synapse (Free) makes you kinda feel like a mind reader. You’ve got to be able to just KNOW what the opposing player is up to and cash in preemptively on his moves. If this — or the game’s turn-based competitive action, which is pretty good — sounds even vaguely appealing, now’s a great time to give it a shot. Mode 7 has slashed the price of the iPad version for the first time, bringing it down to an agreeable $2.99. It launched at $6.99.
That video down should give you a pretty good indication of what to expect. It might be kinda interface heavy, but the mix of competitive strategy and the complexity of setting up smart, tactical shots is brilliant. Also, there’s that whole mind reading thing.

This game looks fun but doesn't work on iPod 4g -_-
This whole damn game looks like crap to me. I've never been a fan of IAP.
This IOS version IS crap too.
More specific details about message boards to start looking for a buddy to link with, for those of us who don't spend any time on message boards, would be much appreciated.

Awesome! Thanks.
I play in my iPad, this is my user and pwd.

Looks like crap until you compare it to Avengers Alliance, its direct competition. ;) If you gotta get your superhero collecting fix, this is the game.
People might mistake it for a shallow swipe fighting game but its very deep with each of the characters unique abilities and powers complementing each other. This is the most fun I've had with a IOS title.
Love and enjoy this game so much lol!
Very good and has many improvements and exciting new.
I didn't think to look on message boards to find a partner for the console game, but now I don't care. I have a couple of level 3 gold characters and several more at levels 2 and 3 and 1. Plus almost all bronze and many silver characters.
I didn't go for gold characters straight away like you seemed to do. I bought the starter character pack which gave me silver Flash. I put lots of coins into him and built out a roster of bronze/silver teams whilst completing the various series of battles. In fact I didn't get a gold character until about the 4th series (I think it was the prison superman boss that beat me). That was a mistake.
1 other tip that wasn't mentioned is to play the new challenge mode. You seem to unlock lots of goodies at each tier and eventually get a new character. The first challenge wasn't very challenging even with a single low level gold character. I used these battles to level up lots of my lesser characters. I seem to earn 3 challenge energy for every standard battle I win. Over the last few weeks I've amassed almost 500.
What's your opinion on the red son characters? I am almost done maxing them out completely. They helped me to almost beat the game.
I heard that the original name of this game was, 'Injustice: Freemium Among Us', they should have kept it.
No, I heard it was actually really: Injustice: Pay To Win.
Then it should be Injustice: Pay If You Suck.
Guys.......guys actually freemium is the evolution of ios gaming. its a touch of realism on our platform. take injustice for example, its normal that after a bunch of fights your characters need some rest, unless you provide them a motivation ( real money for more realism - you feel the game)!! and with RR3 if your break your car of course you'll have to pay for reparations! why would we skip that part?? this is reality and this is the purpose of freemium. Now making a freakin' huge amount of money out of it is just a side effect!
Why not call your post, "Self-Rightous: Fighting freemium games for no reason except I think it makes me hardcore"?
Before the latest update I would have agreed with you about saving up for gold booster packs only. For anyone who has been playing for awhile and have upgraded most of their bronzes to elite 5 than bronze packs are a relatively inexpensive way to boost chararacters special abilitys. With the ability to sell back cards an 8K bronze booster pack rarely costs me 4K and I also usually end up getting and saving on a L1 or L2 special ability power up.
Also, while I'm not a fan of the "freemium" it's ridiculous how some people respond to them. Other that the $5 starter pack I have not spent a penny on this game and spent many (too many) hours of playing this game.
Sorry about the triple post! Had an issue with my disqus account posting.
Ill actually find it useful since I do play the console version.
It's actually pretty fun. My main motivation are the console unlocks (I've almost unlocked the not-so-worth it Hidden Reward), but it's major flaw is the intentional grinding. They want you to give in and pay. If you just started this game, I'd recommended cheating with iFunbox. Download that app to your PC, then download an infinite credits save off the Internet and you can buy and elite every card off the bat. You still have to level them all up, and if you're already far like me, don't do this as it'll wipe your save. I never advocate cheating, but in a game that decreases the cash payout and makes enemies STRONGER with every update, cheat all you want.
I have a lot of Golden characters already and I haven't spend a single cent (;3)
In my opinion, this game is MORE than terrible...
That two fingers touch straight out sucks. Sometimes it does NOT work at all. I made it to the second last guy on the first level of battle collections. It was a single dude and i think it was Green Lanthern or something, and i had like the Flash, Cyborg and Harley Quinn. All of them was lvl.9, but still, didn't even get half way on beating that lanthern guy. And this is how they make money on this IAP crap.
They make the game kind of simple at first, but then they'll force you to buy stuff by making the game waaaaay to difficult. I don't mind that a game gets difficult, but when they make a game impossible so that you're forced to spend money on it, THATS when i say STOP!! And this is why i DON'T like IAP featured games at all. I just know that somewhere in there you WILL have to spend money. Some more than others, and that is wrong. Not everybody possess the same gaming skills as some hardcore gamers do, and it takes the fun away from the game for most people.
Someone commented that they made it this and that far in this game without spending as much as a cent? To you, I don't belive you at all. You've might have gotten further than i did, but i don't belive that you made it that far without spending money. This game is MADE for you to spend every cent you've got.
The game looks good on consol, but as a mobile app with IAP, well... It sucks!
Nuff said.
Maybe it's the fact that I grew up back when the Atari 2600 was the best system out or just personal commitment to gaming but I find that Injustice has been as enjoyable as any game that I've played on my iPad and i play a little of everything including PC games and and XBOX360. I get frustrated about IAPs as much as the next person but I don't find it too overbearing when it comes to gameplay. I have all of the gold characters and most all but two are maxed out at Lvl 40 (except Batgirl and Lobo). I have yet to spend a single cent and I don't plan on since I find the gameplay engaging enough to continue playing. Definitely worth a shot if you also have the console version but I like it as a stand alone game.
I know this is a post from five months ago, but it sounds more like your having problems understanding the mechanics of the game. Because yes this game is possible to beat without cheating, spending money, and even without connecting it to the console version of the game.
I have collected almost all characters available, even Batgirl and Zod, except for Batman Beyond, Arkham Harley, and Flash New 52, I have at least 20 lvl 40 characters, and 12 of them are gold tier, and all my silver and bronze cards are Elite V. My Red Son Superman, Wonderwoman, and Solomon Grundy are all Elite V, which is essentially the team to beat since all of them compliment each other and their passives are greatly needed if you are to finish battles 39-44, my Elite V gold characters includes Batman, Doomsday, Black Adam Regime, Batgirl, Wonderwoman Regime, Bane, Lobo, Joker Insurgency, and Superman. You can finish the game by having at least 3 Elite III-V gold characters. I find Doomsday, Superman Regime, and Black Adam Regime as a good team if you don't have the Red Son characters, or mix them with some support cards like Wonderwoman, Batgirl, Lobo, Bane, Lex Luthor Insurgency, Flash Regime, and my favorite support, Green Lantern Regime, which gives 25% extra increase in gaining power. But I still recommend grinding to buy the Red Son Pack, which is 300,000, because they are very very essential in beating battles 40-43, and the bonus battle in that level. You'll be finding it difficult in battle 43 and 44 (bonus battle) even if you have 3 lvl 40 gold characters in Elite I - III. I suggest really save up for at least Elite III Red Son characters because of the passive abilities, which really helps, since if you have them together, they will have 45% increase in Health (Wonderwoman RS), Power gain (Solomon Grundy RS), and 75% Damage boost to basic attacks (Superman RS), and with that, Superman RS is overkill, and he can make short of some teams even if they are a 3-gold character team. And take note of that hard battle on that bonus battle (battle 44), the final will be against Wonderwoman Regime, Superman Prison, and Batman Insurgency, they are red tier, level 40, Elite 5, and their abilities are different because they can use the special powers of their other counterparts like Superman Prison using Superman Regime's 2nd skill (unblockable laser which deals at least 15-20k damage), which is the norm for red tiers. It may be hard but you still can do it, try grinding on battle 36 and 39 to gain enough experience and money, and log-in everyday. If you don't want it, try saving up for Doomsday, Black Adam Regime, Wonderwoman Regime, and any Batman or Superman cards, since their upper elite levels can handle some kicking and also deals a lot of damage.
I play in my iPad, if anybody wants to use my account in console to help each other.

do you know what the "bug fixes" are on the 1.5.2 update?
anyone here knows what the changes/bug fixes are on the update 1.5.2?
I am on battle 40 and I keep getting my ass handed to me, I almost won but for some reason the enemy is able to not take ANY damage from my fully upgraded tier 3 power attacks...wtf? even my Elite 5 Batman which I've used to level up WW and Flash with gets almost two-shotted by bane even when blocking, Flash gets taken out in one hit and so does wonder woman, something is very very wrong with those random opponent fights... And yeah the blocking sucks.
Generally speaking Bronze and Silver cards are worthless in the last set of battles. The only Silver card that's really of any value at that point in the game is Regime Green Lantern as his special ability increases super meter generation rates. Pair him up with Regime Wonder Woman for quite a formidable duo -- Regime Superman is my third character which makes for a nearly unstoppable team where I'm only facing a challenge in the second half of the last battle ladder in the game.
Doomsday for life!!
I only play on iPad, does anyone play on console and want to link accounts to get the console rewards I have earned?
It's a good game except when it doesn't work properly, you hit the power button and nothing happens which can cause you to lose the match!
I use an hack for Injustice: Gods Among Us that gave me unlimited energy, power credits, boosters, heroes and others. Here it is: http://bit. ly/1czzs06 (Delete the space)
zod kryptonian rifle gear fully charged have effect in man of steel general zod?
Great game. I've been playing it for a few weeks now. A doubt with making wise purchases, though. I have 3 golds - Bane, Nightwing and Killer Frost - none of them upgraded. A few silvers too, but no Wonder Woman (best silver, IMO). I've been saving for a while, to upgrade my gold Nightwing, and have got till 183,000 credits, but now I'm having second thoughts. I'm considering my options. Should I upgrade my Nightwing to Elite I or buy a Silver Wonder Woman and keep upgrading her as much as I can, or save till I get to 400,000 credits, so that I can purchase the Red Son Pack?
Help would be appreciated. Thanks. :)
anyone still play on console? i dont wanna waste money on a console game i can barely play.
Hi, just started playing a few weeks ago on my iPhone. Silver Wonder Woman says her ability increases her next special attack when she blocks an attack by 50%. Do these stack up to 3 times? Because I notice her little logo up to 3 times under her name when I block. Also, can you block the third special attack? I have been reading some mix messages on the internet. According to my Silver Wonder Woman card, she has a base damage on her third attack of like 10,000 but adding in the 50% percent boost should take out at least a character with full health at 15,000 assuming the block bonuses don't stack...but this doesn't seem to happen when I use her. Any help understanding what I am missing would be great thanks!
The wonder woman block ability does stack, caping out at 150%. Unfortunately this does not work for her 3rd special attack and only applies to her first two. Computers can't use 3rd special attacks but if playing online, no, I do not believe they are blockable.
Why wasting so much energy when you can easliy hack the game using freedo app and get all the charachters gold coins stuff free
