A curious trailer made its way into our inbox today and has definitely piqued our interest. It’s for a new 3rd-person shooter called Trigger Fist by developer Lake Effect Applications. It’s got a modern military style reminiscent of recent Call of Duty or Battlefield games, which admittedly is getting pretty long in the tooth. However, Trigger Fist packs a surprise: wearable goats. Yes, like goats as in the farm animals. See for yourself:
I have no idea how the goats factor into all of this, it looks like they might act as the “flag” in Capture the Flag game types if I had to take a guess. But I’ll tell you one thing: I’m eager to find out more (and I think they’re pretty cute). There’s literally no other information besides what you can see in the video, but we’re reaching out to Lake Effect to hear more and we’ll let you know what we find out. I also have a history of getting excited for upcoming online shooters just to be disappointed when they finally release, either because the execution is poor or the online community is lacking. Something to keep in mind.
One thing we do know is that Trigger Fist has been submitted to Apple already, so if your interest is piqued as ours is then we’ll likely be seeing the game hit soon.
