Sonic Dream Team () is a brand new 3D Sonic action-platformer releasing exclusively on Apple Arcade early next month. It has looked amazing ever since its first reveal, and Sega has released the game’s opening animation today. This video has been directed by Tyson Hesse, animated by Powerhouse Animation, and composed by Tee Lopes. In the opening animation video, Sonic and others take on Dr Eggman in a huge battle. The App Store description mentions completing missions, fighting bosses, and finding toys of Sonic characters for your collection. I’m curious to see how the game launches, and how it is handled post-launch since many games on the service get regular updates.
