At the Capcom showcase, Capcom revealed an offline version of Mega Man X Dive (Free) appropriately titled Mega Man X DiVE Offline set for release this year on iOS, Android, and PC. Mega Man X DiVE Offline includes Zero, Proto Man, Bass, Sigma, and Mega Man.Exe and over 900 stages, fan-favorite bosses, and more. This is the best possible outcome for any service-based free to play game. Capcom will release the offline version later in the year, but the company confirmed that none of the multiplayer or collaborations will be included. While the former is understandable, the latter is disappointing. Watch the Mega Man X DiVE Offline trailer below:
In the West, Mega Man X DiVE released in August 2021, and we recently learned that the Japanese version is going to be discontinued soon. I’m glad Capcom isn’t giving up on it and releasing Mega Man X DiVE Offline this year across mobile and PC platforms. More details will be revealed soon, but as of now we don’t know pricing. Capcom did confirm that you cannot move data from Mega Man X DiVE to Mega Man X DiVE Offline on the official website that has more information. Check out the official website for Mega Man X DiVE Offline here. Did you play Mega Man X DiVE or will you be jumping in when Mega Man X DiVE Offline arrives later this year on iOS, Android, and Steam?
