Following HandyGames’ weekend announcement of Wreckfest for mobile, pre-registrations are now live for the upcoming port of Bugbear Entertainment’s fast-paced racer. If you’ve not followed the game so far, Wreckfest debuted on PC and consoles, and it even got a pretty great conversion for Nintendo Switch. Read Shaun’s review of the Switch version here. The Destruction Derby-like fast-paced racer with a lot of crashes, fights, races, and more is coming very soon to mobile through HandyGames. While a release date is yet to be announced, HandyGames has launched pre-registrations on Google Play. Watch the pre-registration trailer for Wreckfest below:
Ahead of its release, Wreckfest mobile will be playable at Gamescom this month at the Indie Arena Booth. Pre-registrations for it are now live on Google Play here. HandyGames confirmed that App Store pre-orders would be coming very soon. I assume these will go live alongside the release date announcement which should be at or before Gamescom later this month. HandyGames’ SpongeBob mobile port is actually the best portable version of the game as well if you have a modern iOS or iPadOS device, so I’m looking forward to seeing how Wreckfest ends up on mobile. Wreckfest will include local multiplayer (the original announcement wasn’t clear about online or local) on mobile. The console game is priced at $39.99 on Nintendo Switch with additional paid DLC available. A price point for mobile hasn’t been announced yet. We will likely have the price and DLC details revealed very soon. Check out Wreckfest on Steam here. Have you played Wreckfest yet on any platform?
