Fast-Paced Rogue-Lite Action Platformer ‘ScourgeBringer’ is Coming to iOS and Android in September

Back in October of 2020 developer Flying Oak Games released their fast-paced rogue-lite action platformer ScourgeBringer on PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch in partnership with publisher Dear Villagers, a division of Plug in Digital. Then just a few months ago they brought the game over to the PlayStation platform. Which means there’s only one platform left for the game to appear on: Yes, that’s right! The Atari VCS! Er, no, that’s not right. What I meant to say was mobile. Yes, mobile devices, like iOS and Android. Well guess what? It’s happening, people. ScourgeBringer is coming to iOS and Android in a couple of months, and it’s available to pre-order right now. There’s also a shiny new trailer showing off the new virtual control scheme.

Now, I know what some of you are thinking: “I don’t do virtual controls." I hear you, and the developers hear you too, so ScourgeBringer on mobile will also support physical controllers. That’s not all though, because while this will still be the exact same game as it is on PC and console if you want it to be, there are also some new options specific to the mobile release. Chief among those is a new Easy Mode to help with those who don’t feel like getting super hardcore, and the controls and gameplay have been tailored for playing on a touchscreen. The game will also include Cloud saves and achievements, and will be a premium release that’ll cost you $6.99. Speaking of which, you can pre-order the iOS version right here or pre-register for the Android version right here, and ScourgeBringer is expected to launch on both platforms on September 13th.
