A few days ago, Genshin Impact (Free) developer HoYoverse (formerly miHoYo) launched a teaser website for a new game titled Zenless Zone Zero. The website had mentions of beta test and sign-ups. It mentioned a full reveal planned for today, and the company has now officially unveiled Zenless Zone Zero as a new action RPG. Zenless Zone Zero is a new urban fantasy IP and the first trailer for it looks excellent. After Bandai Namco’s Scarlet Nexus, I love this setting in stylish action games. Zenless Zone Zero is set in New Eridu which is the last shelter for civilization after the calamity. You join a group of unique characters taking on various foes in a post-apocalyptic world here. Watch the Zenless Zone Zero trailer below:
The Zenless Zone Zero closed beta sign-ups are now live on the official website. This is set to take place on PC and iOS in the future. As of now, platforms for the full release haven’t been announced. I assume Android will be included, but the closed beta is only on PC and iOS. It is going to be interesting to see if it comes to PS4 and PS5 like Genshin Impact which Sony markets a lot worldwide. When I posted about the teaser, I was hoping the music in Zenless Zone Zero would be good, and so far I like what I’ve heard. Until we get more information about Zenless Zone Zero, check out Genshin Impact on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here for free. We featured Genshin Impact as our Game of the Week when it released and awarded it our 2020 Game of the Year. What do you think of Zenless Zone Zero so far and are you going to sign up for the closed beta?
