Roguelike First-Person Shooter ‘Gunfire Reborn’ Launches in Europe, North America and Asia Coming in May with Rest of World Coming in June

This past February Duoyi Games announced that they’d be bringing their ultra-popular roguelike first-person shooter Gunfire Reborn to Mobile devices this year, and as of today the first leg of that journey is complete with the game launching in European App Stores. Originally it seemed like the plan was to launch the game globally on April 15th, and in fact the original announcement in February included a link to pre-order the game where that was the expected release date listed in the App Store. However, Duoyi Games have adjusted their plans and determined that a staggered rollout will be the best way to successfully launch Gunfire Reborn on both iOS and Android platforms. Check out the sweet trailer of the mobile version in case you missed it back in February.

The mobile version of Gunfire Reborn features a few tweaks to make it more conducive to playing on the mobile platform. Things like optional auto-fire and aim assist as well as adjusted game length and difficulty. If you’re in Europe and want to take this one for a spin, you can find it on iOS here and on Android here. For the rest of the world, the plan is as follows: May 11th: Asia Pacific (exclude Mainland China); May 25th: North America, Mainland China; June 22nd: Rest of World. So hey, a month and some change for people like myself here in the US, and a bit more than a couple of months for everyone else. Not too bad, I guess. If you aren’t able to get in on this first leg of the staggered rollout, be sure to drop by the thread in our forums where people who are able to pick up the game are sharing their impressions, and look forward to the continued launch of Gunfire Reborn on mobile devices over the next couple of months.
