Squishy Physics Platformer ‘Slime Labs 2’ from Neutronized Launching in March and Up for Pre-Order Now

Right around this time last year, developer Nuetronized announced Slime Labs for mobile. This was something of a compilation and remaster of the two Slime Laboratory games that Neutronized had developed and released as Flash games many years before, and they featured a big green blob with wide googly eyes that would need to use its slime powers to negotiate all sorts of hazards and situations. What type of slime powers? Mostly shrining or expanding in size, splitting itself in two, squishing down to squeeze through tight passages, and that type of thing. Now this heroic slime is back and ready for more in a sequel titled, appropriately, Slime Labs 2. Here’s the trailer.

As you can see you’ll be in for even more slime-based shenanigans with Slime Labs 2, but you can add swinging to the list as the slime tongue from the original Slime Laboratory 2 Flash game has found its way into this new iOS release. You can also use your tongue as a way to attack enemies, because this is a very deadly tongue. The previous Slime Labs game was a very enjoyable physics platformer with a healthy dose of action and puzzling, and I suspect Slime Labs 2 will be no different. As with the first game this one is targeting a March release, March 30th to be precise, and also like the first game you can pre-order Slime Labs 2 on the iOS App Store right now ahead of its release next month.
