‘Dead Cells: The Queen and the Sea DLC’ Announced for Early 2022 Bringing In Two Late-Game Biomes, a Special Boss, a New Ending, and More

TouchArcade Rating:

Motion Twin just announced new paid DLC for Dead Cells ($8.99) on PC and consoles following the recently released ‘Everyone is Here’ update that added in many crossovers. Dead Cells hit mobile through Playdigious and has gotten new content and DLC over time bringing it closer to the PC and console versions including the The Bad Seed and Fatal Falls DLC. Motion Twin’s new Dead Cells DLC is ‘The Queen and the Sea’ and it is set to bring two new late-game biomes, a special boss, a new ending, and more to the game. ‘The Queen and the Sea’ will complete what Motion Twin started with the previous paid DLC. Watch the trailer for this below:

Dead Cells ‘The Queen and the Sea’ will add the Infested Shipwreck and Lighthouse biomes sas a parallel to the High Peak Castle and Throne Room levels. This DLC will also include new weapons and enemies and is set for Q1 2022 on PC and consoles where it will be priced at $4.99. You can wishlist it on Steam here. It is worth noting that this has only just been announced for PC and consoles right now. Hopefully Playdigious can confirm if and when this content will be added to Dead Cells on iOS and Android alongside the collaboration update.
