While the big news relating to PUBG Mobile (Free) globally is that Krafton is developing a new version of the battle royale sensation in the form of PUBG: New State, set years after the original game in 2051, it doesn’t look like PUBG Mobile itself is slowing down with updates and collaborations. Following PUBG Mobile‘s last major update version 1.3, the big 1.4 update has just gone live on iOS (with Android to follow today) bringing in the Godzilla vs Kong collaboration and a whole lot more. The update download size will be 660MB on Android and it is about 1.67GB on iOS. The highlights include Titan Strikes where Titans spawn on different maps allowing players to gain different Titan Crystals, Microcosm where you transform into an insectoid, a new arena map: The Hanger (beginning June 1st), the announcement of Royale Pass S19: Traverse (May 17th), and more. Watch the trailer for the PUBG Mobile Godzilla vs Kong collaboration below:
If you update form now until May 16th, you can earn 2888 BP, 100 AG, and the Banana Bonanza. For the Titan Strikes mode, Erangel features a showdown with Godzilla while Sanhok features the King’s Rumble in the Jungle. Monster settlements, Apex camps, and more for the Titan Strike mode are here. The Coupe RB vehicle and OTS shooting mode also join PUBG Mobile with 1.4. The OTS (Over the Shoulder) button can be fully customized and this mode gives higher accuracy at the cost of movement. Detailed balance changes and fixes are mentioned on the official website here. Next week, PUBG Mobile Royale Pass Season 19 Traverse begins on May 17th. PUBG Mobile continues to evolve on iOS and Android and it is going to be interesting to see what happens to the playerbase and how PUBG: New State grows when it launches this year. Do you still play it regularly and what do you think of PUBG Mobile so far in 2021 and what improvements would you like to see through this year?
