When Square Enix officially confirmed Final Fantasy VII Remake for PS5, the company also revealed two new mobile game projects relating to Final Fantasy VII in the form of Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier and Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis. Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier is a battle royale experience while the latter is a chapter based game that covers the entire Final Fantasy VII timeline. When Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier was announced, we got a small bit of gameplay but Square Enix hosted a long stream today that showcased a ton of footage and also revealed a new trailer for the upcoming PS5 Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier will have you trying to be the last Soldier standing as you make use of weapons, magic, switch styles, and deal with very tough beasts on the map. Ahead of the Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier release date on iOS and Android, Square Enix has begun pre-registrations for a closed beta on Google Play. If you’d like to try out Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier early, you can sign up here on Google Play until May 28. The closed beta will be live from June 1st to June 7th in North America. Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier itself will release later this year as a free to play experience with in app purchases. It will include subtitle support for English, German, Japanese, French, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, and Korean. Check out the official English website here.
