Square Enix Presents Digital Event Set for March 18th with Mobile Announcements and News from Square Enix Montreal, Just Cause Mobile, and More

Back at The Game Awards, Square Enix revealed Just Cause Mobile which is an action shooter in the Just Cause universe designed for mobile devices. The initial reveal promised a unique story campaign, competitive multiplayer with 30 players, 4 player co-op, and more. Since that reveal, we hadn’t heard much about the game but next week, Square Enix is aiming to fix that. The company just announced a digital event set for March 18th titled Square Enix Presents.

This event will feature gameplay, news, announcements, and more from Square Enix’s upcoming console and mobile games including Just Cause Mobile and new mobile announcements from Square Enix Montreal. Square Enix Montreal brought us the superb Hitman GO, Lara Croft GO, and more. Square Enix has only mentioned mobile announcements from Square Enix Montreal for next week’s event so it is going to be interesting to see what they reveal for iOS and Android.

Barring Square Enix Montreal and Just Cause Mobile updates, Square Enix is also going to show some Taito games but it remains to be seen what platforms those come out on. The rest of the event will focus on the upcoming Balan Wonderworld, Outriders, and more for consoles and PC. If you’d like to tune in, you can watch the Square Enix Presents event on Twitch or YouTube on March 18th at 1 PM (10 AM PDT). It will be about 40 minutes long and also feature gameplay from the next Life is Strange game. Hopefully we get news about a potential Life is Strange 2 mobile port as well. Until then, check out the official website for Just Cause Mobile. What would you like to see next from Square Enix Montreal?
