The Excellent ‘VOEZ’ from Rayark Just Got a Huge 2.0 Update Bringing in a New Quest System, 120fps Support, VIP Pass, and More

TouchArcade Rating:

Rayark’s VOEZ (Free) followed the company’s prior games Implosion: Never Lose Hope ($1.99), Cytus ($1.99), and Deemo ($1.99) on mobile and it has since released on Nintendo Switch and even gotten a physical release on the platform. The rhythm game has slowly been updated over time on iOS to bring in support for newer screen resolutions, login system changes, new songs, and more. Today, VOEZ 2.0 has gone live on iOS and Android bringing in a quest and mission system, new customisation options, 120fps support, and even a VIP Pass that can be used to unlock previous songs and some new ones. There’s a new visual feedback system to tell you how fast or slow you’re tapping in addition to a new gallery mode. Watch the VOEZ gameplay video below:

VOEZ 2.0.1 currently has a display bug for song leaderboards and Rayark is looking to fix this as soon as possible. To buy the VOEZ VIP Pass, you need 55 keys which are available as in app purchases. 55 keys costs about $39.99 depending on your App Store region. This unlocks all songs released prior to VOEZ 2.0 and 10 limited songs. Completing quests with today’s update nets you more songs, icon frames, and skins. The mission system lets you unlock challenge points to get icon frames. A limited event to earn extra challenge points on going on right now. On newer devices like the iPad Pro, you can enable 120fps support in the in-game settings. Other than those highlights, VOEZ 2.0 also includes changes to song difficulty and charts, notes speed, and more. VOEZ is now available for free on the App Store for iOS here and Google Play for Android here. It is also out on Nintendo Switch.
