‘Dinkigolf’ is a New Simplified Take on Golf Launching March 3rd and Available for Pre-Order Now

Simplified golfing games are a popular genre on mobile with the likes of Desert Golfing and the Super Stickman Golf series being a couple of the more popular examples, and that’s probably because the core mechanics of golfing translate really well to touchscreens and video games in general. Now developer A To Play is taking a “swing" at the genre (heh) with their new casual golfing game Dinkigolf. It offers simplified 2D side-view golfing in a variety of cool environments like inside a volcano and across city rooftops, and you accomplish this with easy one-touch controls where you drag and slide to set your angle and power and let go to launch your ball. That’s all there is to it, and it’s very conducive to one-handed play. Check out the trailer for Dinkigolf here.

Dinkigolf will offer more than 50 levels to complete across a single-player Campaign mode as well as a more challenging unlockable Endless mode. Given the extreme environments you’ll be playing in there will also be extreme hazards to contend with in addition to typical bunkers and rough patches, and there’s also a number of unique ball types that can be unlocked by completing specific goals in the Campaign. Pleasingly this is all offered with a one-time purchase of $1.99 and no ads or IAP, with more content already planned for future updates. You can pre-order Dinkigolf for iOS on the App Store here, and pre-register for the Android version on Google Play here with the game’s launch coming on March 3rd.
