In the spring of last year developer Brownmonster launched Rush Rally 3 into the App Store, the third entry in what has consistently been the best rally racing series available on mobile. It did not disappoint. We chose it as our Game of the Week upon release, and since that time Brownmonster has done a tremendous job keeping Rush Rally 3 updated with new features, including two big DLC expansions in the form of a special Live Events DLC a little over a year ago and a Classic Cars DLC this past March. There’s was also a huge free update over the summer adding in tons of customization options for the inside and outside of your vehicles. Since that time Brownmonster has been hard at work on another new expansion and as pointed out on their blog recently that expansion has been submitted to Apple for approval.
The new expansion is dubbed the Gravel Tracks expansion and it features 3 new countries––Australia, Argentina and Greece––with 6 brand new tracks in each. There will be 4 new career Championship modes that will utilize this set of new tracks and also feature a selection of the older tracks too, but with different times of day and different weather effects to give them a different feel. The Live Events mode will also be featuring all these new tracks in its rotation, so even if you don’t end up springing for the new Gravel Tracks expansion you’ll still get to experience them when they pop up in the Live Events if you already own that DLC. The Gravel Tracks expansion has been submitted to Apple and is expected to release on November 19th for iOS and Android, with the Switch version of Rush Rally 3 receiving it likely a week or so after that.
