‘OPUS: Echo of Starsong’ Is a Brand New ‘OPUS’ Game in Development at Sigono

TouchArcade Rating:

Despite it arriving on Nintendo Switch after mobile, I first completed OPUS: The Day We Found Earth (Free) on Switch and was blown away by the story and soundtrack. Sigono’s follow up OPUS: Rocket of Whispers (Free) was a great follow up but it didn’t hit the same highs as the first game for me. Today, Sigono have announced a brand new OPUS game in the form of OPUS: Echo of Starsong. OPUS: Echo of Starsong follows a boy looking for RIVERS which is a mysterious life force and a girl who lent him her voice. The first trailer for it has some great visuals and lovely music. Watch the OPUS: Echo of Starsong teaser trailer below:

Knowing Sigono, this will have some emotional moments and great narrative payoffs when it releases in 2021. As of now, platforms haven’t been announced but I would be surprised if this doesn’t come to PC and mobile at least at launch. Check out the official website for OPUS: Echo of Starsong here for a few more screenshots. If you’d like to play the previous OPUS games, you can get OPUS: The Day We Found Earth and OPUS: Rocket of Whispers on iOS and Android on mobile and Nintendo Switch and PC. I liked them enough to buy the physical release on Nintendo Switch and consider both games worth experiencing. Hopefully we get a release date with platforms confirmed for OPUS: Echo of Starsong soon. Have you played both OPUS games before?
