Nintendo revealed two optional paid subscriptions for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp (Free) a little while ago following the introduction to the paid subscription in Mario Kart Tour. Today, Nintendo has detailed rewards for players of both Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Nintendo Switch. This will allow you to get in-game items for the Nintendo Switch release that feature in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and Leaf Tickets for use in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
To get the rewards, you need to make sure the Nintendo Account linked to your Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp game is the same as the one used to play Animal Crossing: New Horizons and access the eShop for it. You need to be connected to the internet on Switch to access these rewards when available as well. You need to access My Nintendo from within Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp using the menu on the bottom right. This is available once you have played enough to finish the in-game tutorial and can design your campsite. Once you link your account (or if you already had it linked), tap the ‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons Special Order Ticket + 50 Leaf Tickets’ reward to redeem it. Once this is redeemed, you get a 16-digit eShop code for Nintendo Switch that needs to be redeemed on the eShop. the 50 Leaf Tickets for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will be added to your mailbox in-game on iOS or Android. On Nintendo Switch, you need to have made progress in-game and have your game updated. The Nook Shop will let you access these items.
Do you still play Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp regularly? Check out our forum thread for it here. If you did get Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the Nintendo Switch Online app now has the NookLink companion.
