New Apple Arcade Game Releases: ‘Stela’, ‘ShockRods’, ‘Mind Symphony’, ‘INMOST’, and ‘Decoherence’

Apple just added five new games to Apple Arcade for every subscriber. After bringing five games last week, I thought Apple would take a break this week because it seems like five new games each week is excessive considering the library already has so many must play titles. Well, Apple surprised me by releasing five new games right now including one I was looking forward to playing on Nintendo Switch. While last week saw the rollout take place over the weekend with Pilgrims later than the others, this week has all five games available right now. It is going to be interesting to see if Apple keeps this pace up as we get into the second month of the service with free trials coming to an end.

Decoherence from Efecto Studios is a robot building strategy game with PvP combat across arenas. Check it out here on Apple Arcade. Stela from SkyBox Labs takes you to the end of the world. It is a cinematic platformer adventure experience with puzzles. The art style is definitely striking. Check it out here on Apple Arcade. INMOST is something I was looking forward to playing on Nintendo Switch. Chucklefish publishes great games and I can’t wait to play this later tonight. The adventure game is now available on Apple Arcade with great retro styled visuals with modern lighting. INMOST has three playable characters with unique styles. Check it out here on Apple Arcade.

Rogue Games’ Mind Symphony is a blend of a few genres that has a focus on music as the name suggests. Release mode has shoot ’em up gameplay that is fast paced while the Calm mode is more relaxed and meant for taking a breather. It supports Apple Music integration for more music. Check it out here on Apple Arcade. The final addition is ShockRods from Stainless Games that features vehicular combat and seems like a blend between Rocket League and an old school shooter. Check it out here on Apple Arcade. Make sure to check out our dedicated Apple Arcade forum here for discussion on the service and the games available.
