‘ROME: Total War – Barbarian Invasion’ for iPhone Has Finally Arrived In A Free Update That Adds Various New Features

Rome: Total War – Barbarian Invasion ($4.99) released for iPad a while ago bringing the Barbarian hordes into the fray. Feral Interactive announced an iPhone version that would arrive in a free update and that update is now available bringing a whole lot more. Getting a universal update for a game of this scope is pretty amazing but the amount of new features Feral keeps adding with updates is very impressive and makes it easier to continue investing in their ports on iOS. ROME: Total War – Barbarian Invasion on iPhone brings the full experience to the smaller screen. As of this update, ROME: Total War – Barbarian Invasion uses Apple’s Metal API over OpenGL. To play ROME: Total War – Barbarian Invasion on iPhone, you need an iPhone 5S, iPhone 6/6 Plus, iPhone 6S/6S Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 7/7 Plus, iPhone 8/8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XS/XS Max, or an iPhone XR. On the iPod Touch side of things, it will support the iPod Touch (6th Generation). The update brings enhancements to graphis and UI for iPad Pro 11" as well. You will now be able to track battles progress and get ratings based on difficulty. There is a new auto merge option for depleted units, the help system has been improved, and the character details screen has been improved as well.
