Sam Barlow’s Her Story ($2.99) is a fantastic game. I enjoyed it a ton on iPad and was hoping for a follow up. 2 years ago, Telling Lies was announced to be published by Annapurna Interactive in an interview with Variety. Today, we have more details including a release window. I’m glad that this is coming to mobile alongside the PC version. Watch the teaser trailer for it below:

Telling Lies is a follow up to Her Story featuring multiple characters. It is a game about private conversations with non linear storytelling. The game stars Logan Marshall-Green, Alexandra Shipp, Kerry Bishé and Angela Sarafyan. You are placed in front of a laptop that has been loaded with an NSA database of footage. Sam claims Telling Lies is an intimate and intense experience. I can’t wait to play it.

For now, you can check it out on Steam and wishlist it there. Annapurna Interactive is publishing this and they keep putting out games that are exactly what I’m interested in playing. If you’ve not played Her Story check it out on the App Store as well. It is great on iPad. Sam also said this likely will not be in Apple Arcade.
