Last week we showed you some animated gifs of Linn: Path of Orchards, an interesting new platformer being developed by Fanoos Games and published by Crescent Moon Games. While those brief clips certainly gave you an idea of what type of game Linn was, today we finally have a proper trailer which really gives you a feel for the vibe and gameplay. Linn is a “rotating world" platformer which basically means that the various platforms in the game can rotate and you’ll need to carefully traverse them to collect items and reach the goal without slipping off and falling to the abyss below. Check it out in action in the new trailer.
One other nice thing you get from a proper trailer that you don’t quite get from gifs on Twitter is an idea of the soundtrack for Linn. It’s beautiful and serene, and coupled with the unique art style I can see this being the type of game that soothes your senses as it also tests your platforming skills. As mentioned last week, Linn: Path of Orchards is currently available for pre-order on the App Store and is being offered at a discount for those that pre-order. The regular price won’t break the bank either at just $2.99, so whether you pre-order or not be sure to check out Linn when it hits the App Store next week on February 13th.
