Over the last few years we’ve been getting more games that would earlier stay in Japan in the West. Publishers like Bandai Namco Entertainment and even SEGA are bringing out more games to mobile in English than ever before. Bandai Namco Entertainment is no stranger to anime games with loads releasing each year across different platforms. Today, TOKYO GHOUL [:re birth] (That’s a Kingdom Hearts level name) has been announced to release on iOS and Android in the West this Fall. Watch the English trailer for it below:
TOKYO GHOUL [:re birth] is an action game that will have more than 100 characters from the anime in both 2D and 3D battles. It will be a free to play release as expected. The battles will be between Ghouls and Humans featuring the likes of Quinx, Haise Sasaki, Ken Kaneki, Kisho Arima, and more from the anime. There’s no release date for this as of now but it will be out this Fall and there will be a login bonus that nets you Kaneki and Sasaki as playable characters.
There will be seasonal events that have all players split up into Ghouls and Humans to take control of Tokyo. There will be PVP as well and massive raids.
