‘Dragalia Lost’ From Nintendo and Cygames Launches on September 27th in a Few Regions Including USA, Nintendo Direct to Air Showcasing the Game

Nintendo announced a partnership with Cygames on an original action RPG for mobile devices called Dragalia Lost a while ago. If you aren’t aware of Cygames, they are responsible for the beyond massively successful Granblue Fantasy that hasn’t released officially outside Japan. Nintendo also owns five percent of Cygames and this was revealed when the new game got announced. It was initially set to launch in just Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau and expand to other regions later but the new Direct announcement reveals not only a release date but also that the game will launch day one in USA.

Nintendo just had a second indie focussed Direct last night and we will now get not only a mobile focussed Direct but one that fully reveals Dragalia Lost for a USA release. The Japanese release was up for pre-registration already. It will likely go up for pre-registration or even pre-order after the Nintendo Direct ends around midnight on August 29th. You can watch the Nintendo Direct below when the event begins:

Dragalia Lost will begin service in USA, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau from September 27th. As of now, it has not been dated for English speaking regions outside USA or even any country within Europe. This will be a free to play game. The official Japanese website is live here. I’m quite excited to see the full reveal tomorrow.
