It’s that magic time that only happens a couple times a year: A brand new Hearthstone (Free) expansion is upon us. If you haven’t been following along, The Witchwood introduces a bunch of really great new things to the game. I think what’s going to be the most impactful new keyword moving forward is “Rush," which are minions that mechanically work very similar to those with Charge, except Rush minions can only attack other minions on the turn they come out.

Additionally, I really dig the theme of this new expansion which basically hinges on all manners of things you’d find inside of a creepy forest. (Monsters, werewolves, other things like that.) Check out the trailer:

There’s a single player component also coming soon, “Monster Hunt" which will work a lot like the previous Dungeon Run will be available on April 26th. In the meantime, you can get busy cracking open packs. Like most expansion launches, the game seems pretty slammed right now… So, don’t be too bummed if you’re busy at work right now and can’t play the game just yet. Make sure you do log in soon though, as you’ll get three free packs and a legendary out of it.
