Although Rocket League has pretty much made the “cars playing soccer" genre a household thing, a developer called IceFlame Games was all aboard that train long before with their Soccer Rally ($0.99) series which first launched in the summer of 2012. It proved to be incredibly popular and five years ago at GDC 2013 we were all over their sequel Soccer Rally 2: World Championship (Free), which arrived in 2014. Well things have gone quiet on the Soccer Rally front since and IceFlame as we knew it has since disbanded. However, rising from the ashes is LavaSkull Games and they’re keeping the Soccer Rally dream alive and adding in the game’s most request feature in online multiplayer with the upcoming Soccer Rally Arena. Check out our hands-on time with Soccer Rally Arena below and look for it to launch sometime in the end of April/early May timeframe.
