By now I’m sure everyone reading TouchArcade has played Steppy Pants (Free), and if you haven’t, you need to fix that problem. Super Entertainment had their new game to show off at GDC, and it’s called Project Spin. Basically, Project Spin is a rhythm game that you control by spinning a wheel around to hit notes and other musical obstacles. Check it out:
Not shown in the video, but also really cool is that since the game uses a wheel mechanic, they’ve also built in support for the various DJ turntables out there to play the game that way. Here’s a brief look at that from PAX:

I really dig this sort of stuff, music games that actually feel like you’re playing a music game, particularly on mobile, are few and far between. Project Spin really nails this and I’m excited to play it once its finally released.
