Pikachu will bring more Ice-type Pokémon in addition to Ice-type and Water-type Pokémon from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire that will be in Pokémon GO for the first time. This seasonal event will also have various time sensitive bonuses. The first PokéStop visited between December 22nd at 1 PM PST and December 25th at 1 PM PST will grant you a single use Egg Incubator with the first Photo Disc spin.

Niantic also announced special boxes for the in game shop that will have the best deals of the year for Pokémon GO. From today until December 25th at 1 PM PST, the special boxes with Super Incubators, Lure Modules, Star Pieces, and more will be live. After December 25th at 1 PM, there will be different special boxes with Premium Raid Passes, Super Incubators, and more and these will be available until January 4th.
