After a month of successful Alpha testing, Magic: The Gathering Arena is ready to head into its closed Beta starting December 4th. If you were lucky enough to have played the Alpha on your PC (some of us here at TouchArcade were among the lucky ones), you’ll definitely be invited back for the Closed Beta. In addition to the Alpha testers, the Beta will also bring in new testers, although those with priority access will be the first to be invited. In fact, if you aren’t one of those with priority access, don’t expect to get into the Beta in December. While the Alpha was focused on a few weekends, the Beta will be up and running pretty much the whole time, which should give players and developers a better sense of how the game plays.
It's been an exciting month for us. We're happy to announce that the #MTGArena closed beta is going to kick off on December 4th! Read more about what that means and how you can get the chance to participate: https://t.co/Xds4AvInbs

The Closed Beta will launch with Constructed matches and only Ixalan cards, with more features coming in January. Everyone who will participate in the Beta will be under an NDA, so don’t expect to hear much about the game from those lucky enough to play it. Head over here for more info, and I hope you get to check out the game. In the meantime, check out our earlier story on the game.
