It’s been almost two months since Crescent Moon, Blowfish Studios, and We’re Five Games launched their interplanetary action adventure game Morphite ($7.99) on iOS, Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Steam. A Nintendo Switch version arrived a bit later on November 2nd, and an Android version is extremely close too. With that initial launch out of the way for just about every platform, the developers of Morphite are now focusing on additional content for the game, and the first big update is set to hit iOS really soon. How soon? Like, tomorrow soon. Woohoo!
The update is titled the “Abandoned" update and it will include some often requested features like iCloud support, iPhone X compatibility, and a brand new Picture Mode so you can take some pictures of the purdy scenery. Randomized abandoned ancient temples and abandoned spacecraft can also be found and explored during your travels, and there will be even more plant and animal life for you to discover and scan. Another welcome change is that you’ll now be able to replay the Story Missions, and these new features all comes alongside tons of bug fixes and performance optimizations. As you might know already I really enjoyed Morphite and expressed as much in our Game of the Week article when it released, so I’m really looking forward to playing through this updated version when the Abandoned update arrives sometime in the next day or so.
