We are only 2 days away from the launch of the ambitious MMO Lineage 2: Revolution, but the launch trailer is already here, and it’s pretty cool. The trailer shows off a lot of the chaotic, large-scale battles that will be the game’s most distinctive feature. Lineage 2 will bring a huge open world to mobile and 200-player castle sieges. We are also getting 30v30 and 50v50 PvP battles, all of which should combine to make Lineage 2 feel massive and, truly, an MMO. Fortunately, the game will have clans and the ability to use your microphone for in-game chat to help facilitate social play. At the same time, when chat is added to a multiplayer game, the internet tends to show its true colors.
We’ve been following the game’s development for some time now because many are hoping Lineage 2 brings something different to the platform than what we already have, and I’m hopeful that will be the case. Those who’ve played the soft launched version are quite happy with it, but we’ll have to wait until we the game launches on November 15th to see how the game really plays.
