While Golf Story has been soaking up all the love from folks wanting an RPG spin on their golfing, there’s another golf/RPG hybrid game that’s been in the works for quite a while and is finally reaching the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s called RPGolf and we actually first posted about it way back in February of last year while it was in the midst of its Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign. I actually became a backer of the project, and so for the past year and a half or so I’ve been receiving plenty of updates on the game’s progress from the team. It’s been a long time coming, but today’s update brought some very great news. First off is the game’s new official trailer.
The next bit of news is that the trailer came with the message “Here is the final trailer of the game, expect to play all of this very very (did I say very?) soon!" That seems like a pretty encouraging sign that the game is coming very soon, don’t you think? It’s been fun watching this game progress from our first post about it to this brand new trailer, and I really can’t wait to get my hands on RPGolf. Once we get news of a confirmed release date we’ll let you know, but the developers ArticNet and publisher Chorus Worldwide expect that should be in the coming weeks, so not long to wait now.
